OUR FOCUS

Children & Family Wellness Center is a comprehensive family resource center committed to helping children, teens, adults, and families build healthy, connected, and supportive relationships.

We understand that busy schedules, family transitions, emotional challenges, financial pressures, school concerns, parenting responsibilities, and other life circumstances can make it difficult for families to remain connected. Our programs provide coordinated support that strengthens communication, promotes emotional wellness, reduces barriers, and helps families work toward greater safety, stability, and independence.

Services may include licensed psychotherapy, wraparound support, case management, life coaching, mediation, anger management, parenting education, supervised visitation, family reunification, behavioral support, school advocacy, and connections to community resources.

OUR MISSION

To create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children and families can heal, grow, and thrive.

Through compassionate care, education, and community partnerships, we empower families to build stronger connections and brighter futures.

SAFE HEALING CONNECTED GROWTH

OUR VISION

A community where every child and family has the support, resources, and opportunities to live healthy, connected, and empowered lives.

Strong Families: Building bonds and supporting families to thrive together.
Empowered Futures: Inspiring hope, confidence, and opportunities for every child.
Connected Community: Bringing people and resources together to strengthen our community.
Healing & Growth: Promoting wellness, resilience, and lifelong growth for all.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Children & Family Wellness Center, in partnership with Better Family Foundation, provides trauma-informed, family-centered programs dedicated to the safety, development, and emotional well-being of children, adults, and families.

We believe that when families feel safe, supported, and understood, they can heal—and when families heal, entire communities grow stronger.

Our philosophy is rooted in three guiding principles: Safety, Healing, and Connection.

We believe children and families thrive when they receive services in an environment that is:
Safe and Structured: Predictable routines, appropriate boundaries, and consistent support help build trust.
Emotionally Supportive: Children and adults grow when they feel heard, respected, understood, and valued.
Culturally Responsive: Our care and communication respect the identities, experiences, values, and diverse communities of the people we serve.

OUR BELIEFS & APPROACH

At Children & Family Wellness Center, we believe every family has strengths, possibilities, and the capacity for positive change. We provide individualized, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and family-centered services that recognize each family’s unique needs, experiences, values, and goals.

Our approach, developed by Founder and Executive Director Dr. Tambra Robinson-Mola, does not identify one parent, child, or family member as “the problem.” Instead, we consider the family as a whole and help each person understand how communication, relationships, behaviors, responsibilities, and outside circumstances can affect the entire family system.

We work collaboratively with families to identify strengths, address challenges, develop practical skills, access appropriate resources, and create meaningful solutions. Our goal is to help children and adults heal, grow, reconnect, and build healthier family relationships.

OUR CORE VALUES

Honesty: We encourage open, respectful, and truthful communication.
Nonjudgmental Support: We provide a welcoming environment where participants are treated with dignity and respect.
Skill Building: We help individuals and families develop practical skills they can use at home, at school, at work, and in the community.
Positive Reinforcement: We recognize strengths, celebrate progress, and encourage continued growth.
Dependability: We strive to provide consistent, responsible, and trustworthy support.
Creativity: We use flexible and individualized approaches to meet each family’s unique needs.
Coordination: We connect families with professionals, programs, and community resources to promote comprehensive care.
Leadership: We encourage participants to build confidence, make responsible decisions, and become positive leaders within their families and communities.

One Center. Coordinated Support. Stronger Individuals, Healthier Relationships, and Connected Families.
